Open for Bookings

Hi Everyone, I am happy to Announce that that my leg operation was successful, and that the Boat was launched at Teelin Yesterday, and so I am now officially open for Bookings for this year. Fishing over Sandy Bottom

Hi, Please check out the video, in Fishing section,we were fishing off muckross for flatties, and caught Brill Turbot DAbs Homelyn, and thornbacks, the Anglers were Michael Patton, Jim Barnes, Francis Ward, and yours Truly, I must admit I do like fishing over sand to see what comes up.

Happy New Year

Well here we go again, what will 2010 bring? who can say ...hopefully some good Sea Angling and good weather for us all. I will be having an operation on my Knee end of January, and will not be going fishing with the boat until end of April/ or 1st May 2010. KSAC 2009 Winners List

The Killybegs Sea Angling Club held its 48th International Sea Angling Festival on the 4th and 5th July. The main sponsor of the festival which attracted over 80 anglers was SolidPack. SolidPack are producers and suppliers of first class packaging to the fishing industry Nationally and in Killybegs and surrounding areas. As well as fishing some other industries served by SolidPack are agriculture, meat processing and construction. Good fishing was reported on Saturday and Sunday with the weather making for two enjoyable days. Fishing Grounds ranged from Killybegs to Rathlin O’Beirne Island to Inishmurray Island off the Sligo coast. Countries represented at the festival ranged from European countries England, Scotland and Belgium to as far away as South Africa and Australia which again kept to the international flavour of the festival and saw 11 different species landed the main concentration of which was Pollock. After weighing in their catch on Sunday evening, anglers made their way to the Bay View Hotel where Michael Tighe of Solidpack was on hand to present the various prizes. The Killybegs Sea Angling Club would again like to thank the main sponsor SolidPack as well as the various businesses in Killybegs and surrounding areas for their continued and generous support. A big thank you also goes to all the anglers who took part and who keep coming back year after year to keep the spirit of the competition alive and well.
